According to data from Economic modelling specialists Human Health and Social Work Activities grew by 2% when comparing 2013 to 2014, adding 88,373 jobs within the sector. Activity within hospitals saw the most jobs added in the same period contributing 28,178 new jobs to the total number.  Residential nursing care activities went up by 3% contributing 5,991 jobs, while residential care activities for the elderly and disabled contributed 6,667 new jobs.
